The Best Gingerbread House Frosting
Serves: 4-6 servings
  • 3 large egg whites
  • 4½ cups powdered sugar
  • ½ teaspoon cream of tarter
  1. In a medium mixing bowl, beat egg whites with an electric mixer. Add cream of tarter and mix until combined.
  2. Add powdered sugar in small amounts and mix well on a high speed.
  3. After all of the powdered sugar is added, continue mixing for another minute until the mixture thickens.
  4. Use frosting right then or cover and refrigerate until ready to use. Stir icing to soften before use.
