Crock Pot Teriyaki Chicken
  • 3-6 chicken breasts, boneless, skinless
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • ¾ cup soy sauce
  • 6 Tablespoons cider vinegar
  • ¾ teaspoon ground ginger
  • ¾ teaspoon garlic, minced
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • 2 Tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 Tablespoons cold water
  • Cooked rice
  1. In a large bowl, combine the sugar, soy sauce, vinegar, ginger, garlic, and pepper.
  2. Place the chicken in a crock pot, and pour the sauce over the top.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours.
  4. Place chicken on a serving platter and keep warm.
  5. In a sauce pan, pour in the liquid from the crock pot and bring to a boil. Combine the cornstarch and cold water in a small bowl. Then gradually stir it into the liquid, and stir until sauce thickens.
  6. Serve chicken and sauce over rice.
