Apple Crisp Pizza
  • Pastry for single-crust pie (purchase one or see recipe below)
  • ⅔ cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 4 medium baking apples, peeled and diced
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ⅓ cup packed brown sugar
  • ⅓ cup rolled oats
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ cup butter, softened
  • ⅓ cup caramel topping
  1. Roll out the pastry and place on a 12-inch pizza pan. Crimp the edges of the pastry.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the ⅔ cup sugar, 3 T. flour, and 1 tsp. cinnamon. Add in the diced apples and mix.
  3. Place the apple mixture on top of the pastry so it's completely covered.
  4. In a small bowl, combine the topping by mixing the flour, sugar, rolled oats, and cinnamon together. Cut in the butter until crumbly.
  5. Sprinkle the topping over the apple mixture.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Remove from the oven and immediately drizzle with caramel topping. Serve with vanilla ice cream.
