DIY Magnetic Chore Chart

Do It Yourself Magnetic Chore Chart

Since this school year is about to begin, I decided to make a magnetic chore chart for my girls so they get into a routine again before school starts. 3-Ingredient Homemade Weed Killer

3-Ingredient Homemade Weed Killer

Purchasing weed killers from the store can be expensive, so I decided to make my own homemade natural weed killer. I did research and found that only three ingredients are needed to make a simple homemade weed killer. I made some and placed it in an empty spray bottle, then tested a few areas by spot spraying the homemade weed killer on weeds on the north side of my house where there is gravel. I saturated the weeds including its leaves and within a few days they were brown and shriveled up.

How to Make Easy Tissue Paper Flowers

How to Make Easy Tissue Paper Flowers

WELCOME!

Thanks for coming over to Saving Cent by Cent to learn about how to make tissue paper flowers. Every month I help to plan activities for the Relief Society women’s organization. This month, we held a birthday dinner celebration. We wanted the activity to look nice, but we didn’t have a huge budget, so we had to find ways keep things simple and inexpensive. These Tissue Paper Flowers were so easy to make, and they really added to the decor of our activity. They would also make a beautiful addition to your home or a party you are planning.

For our activity, we chose green, purple, and pink spring colors. Each table had a square piece of colored wrapping paper in the middle. We then placed a bouquet of tissue paper flowers in a vase in the center of each table and also added a few tissue paper flowers around the vases.

Relief Society Dinner 1We also hung balloons around the room.
