Amazon Prime Day starts Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at 12 a.m. PT and will continue through October 14, 2020. Amazon Prime Day is an annual event normally in July (however, it’s actually being hosted in October 2020 this year), and Amazon offers deals on thousands of items exclusively for Prime members.

Here is what you need to know about Amazon Prime Day and how to prepare for it:

1 – Amazon Prime

If you are not an Amazon Prime member already you should definitely sign up for a free trial of Amazon Prime right now so you can take advantage of all of the upcoming Amazon Prime Day deals! Right now is the perfect time to try it out and enjoy the benefits.

2 – Amazon App

Download the Amazon App to make shopping on the go easy. You can also use your phone’s camera to locate items with a single tap, find items faster, and track orders in real time.

3 – Amazon Fresh

If you are an Amazon Prime member get $30 off your first order with Amazon Fresh when you use the code 30FRESH at checkout. This isn’t available in all areas yet, so head over here to see if Amazon Fresh is available in your area by using your address.

4 – Audible Audiobooks

Amazon Prime members can sign up for a FREE 30-day trial here.  Audible has thousands of audiobooks, podcasts, Audible Originals, and more. After the trial, then the cost is $7.95 a month.

5 – Amazon Music

Get four months of Amazon Music Unlimited for only $0.99 to get unlimited access to thousands of songs. After that then the cost is $9.99 a month.

6 – Prime Day Guide for 2019

To be prepared for Amazon Prime Day, read Amazon’s Prime Day Guide for 2019.  It includes instructions on how to get sneak peeks of select deals, preview the deals before they start and get notified when the deals you want go live so you never miss a deal.

7 – Countdown Deals

Even though the Amazon Prime Day deals aren’t live yet, you can still shop the Prime Day Countdown Deals starting right now. Check out the deals here.

8 – Camera Search

Download the Amazon Camera Search App to get 20% off select Prime Day deals when you try certain camera features in the app (Search with camera, view in your room, and Scan barcodes). Visit “amazon.com/scanit” in your mobile browser to get started. You can also send an email to your smartphone to receive a link to download the app.

Have fun shopping Amazon Prime Day! And share with us what deals are you looking for and wanting to find that day.
