This post is sponsored by Kids on 45th, but all opinions are my own.
Can you believe it? It’s already time to start thinking about and shopping for back-to-school clothing for your kids!
I don’t know about you, but I feel that my children grow so fast. I’m constantly needing to purchase clothes for them as they outgrow their old clothes. But the cost to purchase a new wardrobe for my three children really adds up.
So I was happy to hear about Kids on 45th, an online children’s clothing site that sells nearly-new and used kids clothes online in sizes newborn to preteen/teen (14/16). This company definitely helps you save money on children’s clothing. And it’s one of the best kids secondhand clothing stores online.
Since it’s time to shop for back-to-school clothes, right now if you want to try out Kids on 45th, you can get $10 off your first order when you use the code SAVING at checkout.
My kids were all smiles opening the box from Kids on 45th and trying on the used kids clothes we purchased online.
About Kids on 45th
Kids on 45th sells secondhand kids clothes, and they ship “surprise” boxes of gently-used (and some new with tags) clothes to moms around the country for super-low prices. The average item is $3.29! The clothes are in excellent condition and don’t have any stains, pilling, tears or fading.
One of the great things about Kids on 45th is that they want to make life easier for busy moms with an easy online shopping experience of kids’ everyday clothes. And you don’t have to search through racks at the secondhand store. You tell them the sizes and types of clothing items your kids need, such as pants, shirts, skirts, jackets, etc. Then their stylists treasure hunt the best clothing finds in their store and ship the box of clothes to you.
Clothing items start at $1.99, and the prices don’t go any higher than $12.99 (which would be the price of a winter coat). That’s a great deal for clothes, including the price of a winter coat! And any Kids on 45th clothing order over $35 ships free.
These are some of the cute gently used clothes we received and tried on.
Kids on 45th doesn’t have any styling fees, and they don’t automatically opt you in for seasonal shipments. If you don’t like something they send you or you find wear on the clothing item, let them know and they’ll do their best to make it right or credit you for the item.
They do have an option of a subscription box, but it’s not required. If you want to be the first to know when they get a new stock of seasonal preloved clothes, then you can subscribe to get a shipment 4 times per year. They will email you before they ship it, so you can change your mind and pause or cancel it if you decide you don’t want it.
My Experience from Kids on 45th
The online ordering process from Kids on 45th is very easy and doesn’t take a lot of time. When I ordered the clothes from Kids on 45th, I chose to have them send shirts and pants that my kids could use for school. And I chose to receive “classic” clothing styles. There is also a “cool” clothing style option. In addition, I was able to comment with specific style instructions so that the company could choose clothes that would fit my kids’ styles.
What I really loved is that the Kids on 45th prices fit within my budget. I ordered 16 items for less than $70. And Kids on 45th offers free shipping with orders over $35. That means each piece of clothing from my order averaged to be about $4.30. That is an amazing deal for children’s clothes! This is so much cheaper than going to clothing department stores or big box stores such as Target or Walmart.
When the box of clothing items arrived in the mail from Kids on 45th, my children were so excited. It was like Christmas for them as they opened the box to see what clothes were inside. We didn’t know exactly what the clothes would look like so it was new and fun. My children loved looking through the clothes, and they loved what styles were chosen for them.
My kids mentioned multiple times how they loved the clothes and wanted to try them on right then. Even my oldest daughter, who is 10 years old and a little more picky about what clothes she wears, kept commenting on how cute everything was and that she wanted to wear certain shirts with specific pants. My kids also have asked to wear the clothes each day, even though I told them I want to save the clothes for school. It definitely was fun for them to get new clothes that were a “surprise” to them.
I really liked that even though the clothes are used kids clothes we purchased online, they look nice and are in good condition. And many of the clothes were name brand. Even a few of the clothes were brand new and still had tags on them. My kids tried on all of the clothing and it fit great. And many of the pieces can be mixed and matched to create different outfits. The stylists at Kids on 45th did a wonderful job of choosing clothes for my kids.
