Sprout Kids Table & Chairs Review + Toy Box Giveaway ($99.95 Value)

Sprout White Table and ChairsMy girls were so excited a few weeks ago when a large box showed up on our front porch. They couldn’t wait to open it, but I made them wait until my husband was home so he could help with this project. When we finally opened the box, my girls squealed with delight when they saw that we received a Kid’s Table and Chairs from Sprout.

Table and Chairs Assembly Photo

We started by first assembling the kids table. It had three pieces that interlocked to hold it together. I liked that we didn’t need any tools to do this. We then assembled the chairs, which had five pieces for each chair. Once we read the instructions and put everything together, it only took us less than 10 minutes. It was so easy to do! We probably would have been able to assemble it faster, but we had lots of help from our three children. Plus, we enjoyed doing it together as a family.

Since no screws or tools were needed to secure the table and chairs, I wondered if my children would be able to take the table and chairs apart. I didn’t want the pieces to be taken apart and carried all over the house. It turned out that only my husband and I were able to lock and unlock the pieces, which I liked.

Sprout Table and Chairs Coloring

My girls have been enjoying the little table and have been coloring and using it when they do art projects. Sprout’s table and chairs come in the colors of green, slate grey, orange or white.

In addition to the table and chairs, Sprout also has storage bins, cube shelves, shoe shelves, and playroom and nursery furniture. None of Sprout’s products need tools for assembly. The company uses a tension lock tool-less technology that makes it quick to assemble. And it can be easily taken apart to store somewhere and then set up again later within minutes. The table and chairs are really sturdy and durable and they have rounded corners and edges, which is especially nice for my soon-to-be-walking son who will probably bonk himself on every furniture piece in our home.  And the surface of the table is also washable making it easy to clean up after my girls finish an art project.

Sprout’s furniture is built out of recycled pre-consumer wood fiber, and manufactured with as little waste as possible, and the cardboard bins are made from made from 30% recycled content and are 100% recyclable. All of the company’s kids furniture is designed and manufactured in America and made with 100% local materials. Sprout’s philosophy is to play, think, and grow and is based on the belief that we learn by interacting with our surroundings, so we should create surroundings that lend themselves to interacting with. To some furniture is a fixture, but to Sprouts, it is a toy. It is a way of interacting and learning.

Sprout provided me a table and chairs in return for a review. All opinions are my own. Sprout will provide the giveaway winner with a toy box. The toy box is a scratch and dent, but it’s an insignificantly scratched product.
