I had the opportunity last week to attend the Salt of the Earth spa event. It was so much fun to meet other bloggers and to find out what Salt of the Earth was all about.
Salt of the Earth creates fresh, down-to-earth spa treatments and products for every occasion. They hand mix natural ingredients & 72 trace organic minerals from the Great Salt Lake with essential scents to create bath and body connections, and they manufacture these spa products for luxury resorts and spas such as Stein Eriksen Lodge, Sego Lilly, and The Grand America Hotel, as well as other resorts and spas.
When I first arrived at the event, I headed over to the table where we could choose to mix my own full-size salt scrub, sugar scrub, or body creme.
I chose to make my own salt scrub. There were more than 50 scents to choose from, so it was difficult to decide on just one fragrance, but I decided on the Mango Ginger fragrance. It smells so good! And this salt scrub will be perfect for my dry feet that I neglected when I was pregnant.
I then headed back where people were eating and mingling. Whole Foods provided the delicious food. I had a chance to try the Caramelized Leek and Smoked Gouda Mac ‘n Cheese, Orange Zest Creme Brulee with Raspberry Sauce, and Cajun Fig Cake with Made in House Ice Cream and Fig Sauce. All of it tasted so good! I just kept going back to try more.
Next, I headed upstairs where estheticians were giving out relaxing hand massages. I chose the White Ginger scent to add to the salt scrub and lotion because I really liked the smell. I exfoliated my hands with a salt scrub, and then an esthetician moisturized my hands with a special lotion. The hand massage was so nice and relaxing! And I loved that my hands were so soft afterwards.
Before I headed out, I was given a swag bag, which included a white robe from IKEA. This was such a fun event with good food and friends. I’m glad that I went and had a great experience, and I look forward to using the delicious smelling Salt of the Earth salt scrub this week.
Lisa, it was so great having you at the event! Thank you so much for coming and for posting your thoughts about the event! Glad you like the White Ginger, let me know if you want a refill and I’ll get you hooked up!
