We are a few weeks late planting our garden, but we finally got it in this past weekend! We had good intentions getting it done sooner, but our tiller was broken when we went to start it, and we had to order a part to fix it. My husband is amazing and fixed the tiller and tilled the garden in the same day once the tiller part arrived.
We kept our garden simple this year, since I’m expecting baby #3 in August, and I know that I won’t be able to do much canning once he arrives. We planted three tomato plants, one zucchini, one cucumber, one bell pepper, onions, and carrots. We now need to put the watering hose in so we don’t have to water it by hand each day.
I love that our garden saves us money in the summer and fall since we don’t have to buy as much produce at the store. And I love being able to walk out to our garden and pick items that I’ll use for our meals.
