We like to eat croutons with our salads and soups. And the other day I was low on croutons, so I decided to try out this new recipe to make our own croutons. They turned out great! I think that they were just as good as if we had purchased them from the store. And my girls and husband just loved them! Plus, they are so easy to make.
Homemade Croutons
8 slices bread, cubed
3 Tbsp. olive oil
1/2 tsp. season all
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. parsley
2 tsp. basil
Directions: Stir all the ingredients together in a bowl or shake in a bag. Pour onto a greased 11×13 pan. Bake at 250 degrees for 20-30 minutes until they are as hard as you want. Stir once or twice during cooking. Pull out and cool. Store in a ziplock bag or airtight container.
