One of our Christmas Eve traditions is to make this gooey and delicious Cinnamon Pull-Apart Bread. We also make an Herbed Potato Soup and add lots of yummy toppings to it. If you are planning a New Year’s party, this pull-apart bread would be a big hit!
Cinnamon Pull-Apart Bread
1/2 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
3 teaspoons cinnamon
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup nuts, chopped
1/4 cup water
21-22 frozen rolls (I use Rhodes Frozen Rolls)
Directions:
1. Melt butter in a saucepan on the stove. Stir in brown sugar, cinnamon, sugar, and nuts. Heat until dissolved, and add water as it comes to a boil.
2) Place a single layer of frozen rolls in a greased bundt pan, and pour mixure over frozen rolls. Cover and let raise for 2-3 hours until the rolls are double in size. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
I have always wanted to try one of these because they just look sooooo yummy. Doesn’t sound too hard. Pinning!
This is called Monkey Bread where I come from and also a Christmas tradition…and any other time we want to start our day with the most fattening and delicious meal possible..
KraftinMommy – I hope you enjoy the pull-apart bread, it is really easy to make.
Shelley – I didn’t know it was called Monkey Bread. Intersting yet fun name. And yes we love to eat this anytime of the day too.
