Besides canning a batch of salsa last week, I also put up 19 quarts of peaches! Friday was an extremely long day. However, I always enjoy seeing the outcome of my labors. I do this out of love for my family because they enjoy eating fresh peaches all year long.
Over the next few months, I’m planning on canning another batch of salsa (that’s a much hotter batch for my husband), more peaches, tomatoes, applesauce, and apple pie filling. That should definitely keep me busy.
