Tips on Where to Find Coupons

For those of you interested in couponing, and wonder where to start, here’s a guide where to find coupons:

1. Sunday Newspaper Inserts

The Smart Source (SS) and Redplum (RP) coupon inserts appear on a weekly basis in the Sunday newspaper. There is also a Procter & Gamble (P&G) insert at the beginning of each month. The times the inserts do not come in the Sunday paper is if there is a holiday that week.
2. Magazines
Women’s magazine publications such as Woman’s Day, Good Housekeeping, Parenting, Family Circle, etc. frequently carry manufacturer coupons.
3. Inside Stores
Watch for coupons at the entrance of stores, on shelves and on products. Also look for coupons to print out at the register.
4. Printable Coupon Websites
Below is a list of the main printable coupon websites to regularly search for coupons. You can print each coupon twice per computer.
5. Store and Manufacturer Websites
Check store and manufacturer websites for printable coupons. You can also contact companies via mail, e-mail or phone to request coupons.
6. Facebook
Most of the high-value coupons I receive are from companies on Facebook. In order to receive the coupons they are giving out, you need to “Like” their Facebook page.
7. Free Product Offers
Sign up to receive free trial offers and samples because almost always a coupon will be included with it.
