I made this homemade granola cereal this past week because it’s a family favorite recipe, and thought I’d share it with you. It’s so simple and inexpensive to make, and children love to eat it. Sometimes we have it with milk and other times we eat it with yogurt.
Homemade Granola Cereal
1 cup butter
1 cup peanut butter (I like chunky)
6 cups oats
1 cup brown sugar
Combine oats and sugar. Stir in butter mixture that has been melted in microwave. Blend until crumbly. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Add raisins afterward, if desired. Store in covered container. Keeps 3 months in fridge.
