Walmart Price Matching Policy

Yesterday, Yahoo! Finance posted an article about Walmart’s sales have been in a slump, and now Walmart is “ready to roll up its sleeves to win the lowest-price battle with its rivals.”

Some of the changes Walmart will make include bringing back thousands of products to the shelves, providing lower prices, and having a better ad-matching policy.

According to the article it states that Wal-Mart said store managers will check competitors’ prices more frequently. The company will press suppliers to lower their costs and will simplify its “ad match” policy. And from now on, if customers find a lower advertised price, Wal-Mart promises to match that price at the register in all stores without requiring shoppers to bring in a competitor’s ad as proof.

That’s good news to hear they are trying to simply the ad-matching policy. To read more of the article, head over here.
